Our History

At the start, our main focus was to provide service and installation of pumps.

The retail became more dominant in the following years, and currently forms the majority of the company’s total turnover.

Born out of garage in 1991

Thanks to our high specialization, we became well-known company in the water pumps field and major companies gave us the trust to exclusively represent them on the Czech market - Calpeda, Stairs, Umbra pompe, Speroni, Zenit, Franklin Electric, GWS and others.

It is also worth mentioning our own production of pressure booster pumps, pumps, pressure booster sets, submersible pumps, accessories etc. divided into 6 product lines. Today, the range of products we offer fully covers the requirements of our customers, from small pumps for garden or cottage to large-scale energy projects.
We have been further expanding and enlarging the product range to bring us as near as possible to the requirements and needs of our customers. 

We transformed our limited liability company into a joint stock company at the beginning of 1998. We are permanent members of the Association of Professional Wholesalers and the Chamber of Business and Commerce. Our company has held an ISO quality certificate since 2004. We have gradually expanded our certification to the environment and occupational safety. 
We have been investing into own warehouses with an area of of 5600 m2 which allows us to have thousands of products in stock. Likewise, we were able to move the service department to the premises of the former warehouse and build high quality facilities for professional service. We are an authorized service of KSB, Grundfos, WILO, etc.

Pumpa, a.s. has it headquarters in Brno, Czech Republic and branches accross the country.  You can buy our PUMPA products all around Europe and we run our online shop www.pumpa.eu.   

As of 2020, the number of employees has reached almost 90 people and our company continues to extend the scope of products as well as expand abroad.
